Regional Chair for Scotland
Serial entrepreneur Andrew Alleway is the co-founder and managing director of Tidy Green Clean, a Scottish-based commercial cleaning and facilities management company. With almost 20 years in international general management, marketing, and franchise roles in varying industries, his primary focus has been developing the right customer solutions, building enduring relationships and creating hardworking, highly successful franchise businesses.
Since coming to Aberdeen in 2015, Andrew has used his considerable skills to provide healthy and hygienic working environments for office-based businesses. Believed to be unique in the UK, Tidy Green Clean’s innovative franchise-based model allows staff to become business owners with the ability to control their work-life balance and receive a guaranteed income.
As a strategist and personable leader, Andrew has a track record for driving growth and profitability; most recently he recorded a 116% increase in 2018/19 and is on course to double again this year. His strong commercial management and negotiation skills have enabled Andrew to grow the business through acquisition, and alongside this, he actively works with his other directors to source and engage with suitable new master franchisees to join the business.
Andrew additionally serves as Chairman of The Board of Trustees for MeToo!, a parent-led organisation that produces events and sessions accessible to people who may otherwise find it challenging due to sensory considerations.
Andrew lives in Aberdeen with his wife and children, over 11,000 miles from his birthplace in New Zealand. In his personal time he enjoys coaching kids rugby and spending time with his family at their caravan.
