Every child is unique, but what all children have in common is a natural curiosity and an innate ability to learn. Extensive research has shown that babies begin to understand language twice as quickly as they actually speak it and, by the age of three, a child’s brain is normally twice as active as that of an adult’s!

Learning a second language early enables a child to fully enjoy the way it sounds. Children hear and experiment with rhymes and songs and play with language through repetition and rhyming words and by doing this, they listen to the sounds of a language, enabling them to grasp it far more quickly than an adult ever could.

Studies suggest that encouraging a child to love language at an early age prepares them extremely well for school and life, helping to develop their listening, observation and critical thinking skills. And this is why the Lingotot franchise represents such a huge opportunity with an enormous target audience.

Lingotot was founded by Angela Sterling, who originally worked as Head of Languages in various schools in the UK and internationally. She started the business when her eldest daughter was seven weeks old and franchised the business after the birth of her second daughter. Her drive and passion for languages, along with her strong vision and resilience, has earned her many awards and she has even appeared on Dragons’ Den!

Angela’s business model provides franchisees with all the support and tools needed to run a thriving children’s language business. Lingtot currently teaches around 12,000 children, aged 0-11, every week in the UK, and their KS2 language courses are all accredited. They also offer fully accredited teacher training.

So, what makes the perfect Lingotot franchisee? Surprisingly, you don’t need to be able to speak the language or languages you would like to teach, but you do need to have a passion for language education for children and a hardworking, positive, can-do attitude. You will need to be a people person who enjoys spending time with children and is friendly and cheerful.

If you like the idea of teaching languages to children and have and the drive to be successful, Lingotot would love to hear from you! For more information on the Lingotot franchise opportunity, visit www.lingotot.com/franchise or contact Angela Sterling at Lingotot’s Head Office:
