Partnership with the Business Show London Excel

This week, I am very excited to announce that the AFA is partnering with The Business Show, Europe’s largest business exhibition, which is taking place on the 14th and 15th November 2018 at ExCel in London. The AFA will be exhibiting on stand 1850.

We have decided to partner with this important event as we feel strongly that the franchising sector needs better representation at business shows and exhibitions of this type. Franchising is a credible, less risky alternative to starting your own business from scratch. It provides you with access to tried-and-tested business models and the use of an established brand, saving you time and effort and enabling you to concentrate on growing your business right from the start.

Why visit The Business Show?

The Business Show is the longest running business exhibition in the UK, representing a community hub for business professionals from all over the world. Approaching its 40th edition, The Business Show has built a strong legacy within the business arena as an invaluable date in the corporate calendar.

With over 20,000 visitors, more than 200 world-class speakers and interactive masterclasses, as well as 350 expert suppliers, by visiting this FREE show you will learn the essential information needed to start or run a successful business. From advice on finance and entrepreneurship, to guidance on legal services and marketing, plus incredible networking opportunities, this event is dedicated to guiding startups, SMEs and large corporations on their business journey.

Headline speakers this November include entrepreneur and philanthropist Kavita Oberoi OBE, former Dragon’s Den star Rachel Elnaugh and the Head of Marketing at Google, Raja Saggi, to name a few.

Additional features

As well as an itinerary packed with speakers, seminars and masterclasses, The Business Show will provide you with many, additional opportunities to grow your network and learn about every aspect of buying or expanding a business:

  • Speed Networking – an intensive session of two-minute mini-meetings. This corporate version of speed-dating is the perfect place to gain valuable contacts spanning a range of different sectors and industries. It’s all about maximum impact, because after your one minute each way is up, the whistle blows, and you change partners!
  • Business Connections area – within this area is a straightforward and hugely effective wall where you can post and reply to notices, sorted by industry. The idea is simple: pin your business card to the wall for everyone to see. Specify if you’re looking to make a particular kind of connection, and potential partners will pin their card to your request. Scan the wall to find people looking for what you can offer and pin your card to their request to pick up extra, potential clients.
  • Businesses For Sale Live – if you’re thinking of buying or expanding a business, attend one of the seminars from this programme to learn everything you need to know, including how to choose the right business, raise the finance to buy it and make sure the deal goes through. You’ll also hear from franchising experts on why buying a franchise can prove to be a great alternative to buying a business. Or if you’re looking to sell your existing business, industry experts will be on hand to help you prepare your exit strategy and maximise the value of your business.
  • The Internet Business School – provides Level 3 & 4 accredited marketing courses with a focus on online business management. Sessions will be run throughout both days to provide you with valuable information on how to start and grow an online business.
